Minister of Electricity Discusses with Canadian Ambassador Opportunities for Knowledge Exchange and Leveraging Canadian Experiences in the Energy Sector

The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Subaih Al-Muhaisen, received the Canadian Ambassador to Kuwait, Tara Sherawat, in the presence of the Deputy Minister, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil. The meeting discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Kuwait and Canada in the fields of electricity, water, and renewable energy, alongside reviewing opportunities for exchanging expertise and benefiting from Canadian experiences in energy efficiency, sustainability, and modern technologies supporting the development of the electricity and water sectors. The meeting also addressed several topics of mutual interest, contributing to strengthening technical and institutional cooperation frameworks and supporting the Ministry’s direction toward developing infrastructure and improving service efficiency, in line with sustainable development goals. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and exchanging expertise to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and open broader horizons for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
