Launch of the media campaign "Our Gulf Shines" to strengthen Gulf identity

The Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Joint Production Program for Program Production, Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, announced the launch of the “Our Gulf Shines” media campaign, which features an artistic musical work aimed at the Gulf family, particularly children, with the goal of strengthening the shared Gulf identity and consolidating values of belonging, unity, and solidarity among the peoples of the GCC member states through contemporary creative content that speaks to new generations.
In a press statement, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah emphasized that the musical work comes amid the circumstances the region is experiencing, embodying an artistic message that enhances awareness of a shared destiny and highlights the achievements and resilience of GCC member states in the face of challenges and threats. He clarified that the work represents a contemporary Gulf model that combines identity, creativity, and modern technologies, leveraging advanced technological tools to enhance visual quality and accelerate production pace, thereby aligning with current events and strengthening the presence of the purposeful Gulf media message aimed at addressing the Gulf family.
The project is being implemented by a group of prominent Gulf creative talents. Manal Al-Gharbali served as creative director, while Ahmed Boudham directed the work. The lyrics and music were composed by Mubarak Al-Saif, and the song was performed by artist Mariam Shahab.
