Ministry of Food: 11 violations issued and 55 kg of unfit foodstuff destroyed in Khaitan

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted an inspection tour of food establishments in the Kuwait City area, as part of its regulatory plan aimed at ensuring compliance with health requirements and applicable regulations. The tour resulted in the issuance of 11 violation reports against several non-compliant food establishments, as well as two destruction reports for quantities of food items unfit for human consumption, totaling 55 kilograms, which were disposed of in accordance with approved legal procedures. These inspections are part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of food establishments, protect consumer health, and take necessary legal action against violators.
