Foreign Minister Chairs Meeting of the Border Committee

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber chaired a meeting of the Border Committee, held at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during which all items on the agenda were discussed.

On another note, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber held a telephone conversation with Helen McEntee, Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber congratulated McEntee on Ireland’s assumption of the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, wishing her success and effectiveness in her role. The statement added that the call also reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussed current developments in the region.
