Kuwaiti security delegation participates in the proceedings of two Gulf meetings in the traffic sector

Kuwait, represented by a delegation from the Ministry of Interior, participated in the 54th meeting of General Directors of Traffic and the 52nd meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Linkage Team and Traffic Systems Development, held at the General Secretariat of the GCC in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. The meetings were held to enhance the trajectory of joint security and traffic cooperation among the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Kuwaiti delegation from the Ministry of Interior was led by Assistant Director General of the General Directorate of Traffic for Education and Coordination, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani. It also included Colonel Bashar Al-Sayed Hashem, Director of the Information Systems Department, and First Lieutenant Sulaiman Al-Shammari.
The meetings discussed a number of topics aimed at developing traffic systems, exchanging expertise in traffic flow management, and reviewing modern technologies and intelligent systems that contribute to raising public safety standards and reducing accidents. Additionally, the participants followed up on the latest developments of the GCC Traffic Linkage Project, reaffirming the importance of continued mutual coordination to achieve a safe traffic environment.
