Ministry of Higher Education to Secondary School Graduates: Register Quickly for Aptitude Tests Before Booking Closes

Cairo — Ahmed Sabry In preparation for the coordination of admissions to state universities and institutes for the 2026/2027 academic year, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has urged Egyptian secondary school certificate holders wishing to enroll in faculties that require passing aptitude tests to register promptly on the electronic coordination website and avoid postponing registration until the last days.

Dr. Ahmed El-Giushi, Acting Head of the Education Sector and Supervisor of the Coordination Office, confirmed that electronic registration for aptitude tests is available through the electronic coordination website, in accordance with the announced schedule. He emphasized the importance of students adhering to specified deadlines and selecting an appropriate date for taking the test, ensuring smooth procedures and avoiding the pressure of the final days. He clarified that registration is conducted electronically via the coordination website: https://tansik.digital.gov.eg

Registration will continue until 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, after which no further registrations will be accepted.

He also clarified that faculties requiring aptitude tests for admission include:

- Faculties of Fine Arts (Arts and Architecture)

- Faculties of Applied Arts

- Faculty of Musical Education at Zamalek – Capital University

- Faculty of Art Education at Zamalek – Capital University

- Faculty of Art Education – Minia University

- Faculties of Sports Sciences

For his part, Dr. Adel Abdelghaffar, Media Advisor and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry, stated that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research continues to publish guidance manuals, infographics, and awareness videos regarding aptitude tests on its official platforms, to assist students and parents in understanding the registration steps, test procedures, and answering key inquiries.

The Ministry has called on all students and parents to rely on the official website and the Ministry’s official platforms for accurate information, and to avoid being misled by inaccurate information circulated on unofficial pages.
