Zakat Al-Othman Launches the 'Umrah for Kuwait's Guests' Project

Zakat Al-Othman, an affiliate of the Al-Najah Charity Association, announced the launch of the “Kuwait’s Guests Umrah” project, aimed at enabling new converts and resident expatriate communities in Kuwait to perform the Umrah pilgrimage and visit the Noble Prophet’s Mosque. This initiative aligns with its mission to strengthen faith-based aspects and consolidate the values of Islamic brotherhood among members of society.

Emad Al-Mutawa, a member of the board of directors of Zakat Al-Othman, affirmed that the project represents one of the faith-based and humanitarian initiatives that Zakat Al-Othman is keen to implement annually, providing an opportunity for many new converts and incoming expatriate communities whose financial circumstances have prevented them from visiting the Holy House of God and fulfilling their aspiration to perform Umrah.

Al-Mutawa clarified that the cost per pilgrim amounts to 110 Kuwaiti dinars, which covers all the pilgrim’s needs, including visas, air-conditioned buses, hotel reservations, and food and beverages during the journey. The trip includes a comprehensive program that begins from the moment the journey departs until the pilgrims return to the State of Kuwait.
