CENTCOM: We have begun a new wave of airstrikes on Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the start of a new round of airstrikes against Iran, affirming that these strikes aim to further degrade Iran’s military capabilities used to attack navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on its X account, CENTCOM stated: “U.S. forces today, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, launched a new round of airstrikes against Iran, directed by the Commander-in-Chief. These strikes aim to further weaken Iran’s military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.”
