Kuwait: Continued brazen Iranian aggression constitutes a systematic undermining of de-escalation efforts and flouts international will

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strongest denunciation of the continued, egregious Iranian aggression against the country, which constitutes a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a serious endangerment of the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory. It also represents a grave breach of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
The Ministry reaffirmed that the continuation of these overt attacks, while regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalation are underway, constitutes a systematic undermining of de-escalation initiatives and disregards the international will supporting this path.
The Ministry emphasized that the security, sovereignty, and safety of Kuwait’s citizens and residents on its territory are inviolable, reiterating Kuwait’s inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security, and ensure its stability.
