Hussein and Habib officially receive their international coaching license (A)

Kuwait officials: National coaches Hussein Habib, coach of Al-Arabi, and Hussein Habib, coach of Salibikhaet, obtained the international (A) coaching license by passing the examinations and completing the training course, which concluded in Tokyo, Japan, the day before yesterday. This represents a unique achievement, as they are the first national coaches to hold the license.

On another note, Kuwaiti goalkeeping coach Ali Al-Khader is participating in a specialized European program for the development of goalkeepers, held in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, with 60 of Europe’s top goalkeeping talents. Al-Khader’s selection to join this elite group of experts and coaches reflects the standing he has achieved on the international stage and the quality of Kuwaiti coaches, following his experiences with the Brazilian national team and clubs competing in continental tournaments.

In this context, Al-Khader expressed his great happiness at being part of the European program, which includes a select group of promising talents in Europe. He noted that the experience provides him with the opportunity to learn about the latest methods of goalkeeper development and to exchange expertise with various training schools. He added, “I look forward to benefiting from all the details and transferring this knowledge to the players I work with in the future.”

The program is among the European initiatives aimed at refining and developing young goalkeepers through specialized training supervised by international experts, focusing on technical, tactical, and mental aspects, and utilizing the latest modern training methods.

In other news, the national youth handball team lost to South Korea with a score of 34-28 in their match today, part of the fourth round of Group 2 in the 19th Asian Youth Handball Championship held in China. The Blue Team currently has four points in its tally and will play its next match tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. against the Qatari national team.
