Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs: Full support for all efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve sustainable peace in the region

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks yesterday, Sunday, with several of his counterparts to discuss the latest regional developments. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in separate statements that these discussions took place during telephone calls made by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi. During the calls, the parties reviewed cooperation relations and ways to support and strengthen them, and discussed the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region. The Qatari side reaffirmed during all the calls its full support for all efforts aimed at defusing tensions and reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
