Ministry of Food and Nutrition: 3 Tons of Spoiled Fish Seized

Nada Abu Nasr: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Inspection Department of the Capital Governorate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, seized 3 tons and 237 kilograms of fish unfit for human consumption during an inspection tour at the fish market on the Corniche. The Authority stated that the seized fish were spoiled and had undergone changes in their natural properties, including color, shape, and odor, emitting foul smells, and were intended for sale. Inspection reports were drawn up against the violators, and measures were taken to destroy the seized quantities in accordance with approved regulations.
