Bada Al-Anzi: The Al-Jahra Governorate Committee of the Municipal Council will hold a meeting on Wednesday, presided over by Abdullah Al-Anzi, to discuss a request from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to allocate a residential site for the imam and the muezzin in Al-Jahra, Plot 93.

The technical opinion included the following: Approval of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs’ request to allocate a residential site for the imam and the muezzin, with an area of 300 square meters, in Al-Jahra, Plot No. 93, subject to the following conditions:

* Adherence to the stipulations outlined in the responses from members of the Sub-Committee for Utilities and Public Services, and coordination with them prior to implementation.

* Empowering the relevant departments to relocate and adjust the site’s dimensions and area, provided that such adjustments do not exceed the designated areas, in case of conflict with any existing infrastructure services or regulatory requirements.

The committee’s agenda also includes discussing the Municipal Council’s decision regarding the allocation of the Ministries Complex building in Al-Jahra Governorate. In this regard, Municipal General Manager Muna Al-Asfour clarified in a letter: “We inform you that Item (Fourth) of Municipal Council Decision No. (M.B/F20/442/19/2006), issued on October 2, 2006, stipulates that ‘the Ministry of Public Works shall implement the project using its available expertise and technical and human capabilities, ensuring the project is completed in accordance with the latest architectural and planning systems and modern global standards.’ Therefore, the Ministry of Public Works is the competent authority for implementing the project.

The agenda also includes a proposal by Chairman Abdullah Al-Anzi regarding the construction of two pedestrian bridges on Al-Jahra Highway 80, opposite the Al-Qairawan and Al-Doha areas.
