Traffic Department: License, Permit, and Violation Transactions from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM

The General Directorate of Traffic has announced the official working hours for all its departments across the country’s various governorates, clarifying in an explanatory brochure that these hours vary depending on the type of service provided. Technical inspection and driving test departments operate in two shifts: a morning shift from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and an evening shift from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The directorate added that driving license, vehicle registration, and traffic violation departments receive visitors during the morning period from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., while their evening hours extend from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The directorate emphasized that these schedules apply to all governorates, urging visitors to arrive well before the end of working hours to ensure their transactions are completed, while noting that evening hours differ among departments.
