Industry: Immediate and urgent evacuation of voucher impacts

The Public Authority for Industry has called upon operators of setbacks in industrial plots, previously licensed by the Authority, to immediately and urgently vacate these setbacks, remove all existing structures and installations, and appear at the Public Authority for Industry to settle the financial obligations incurred as a result of such exploitation, until full vacating and handover are completed. This comes in compliance with Cabinet Decision No. 740, adopted at its meeting No. 23/2026-109 held on June 17, 2026, which stipulates that the Kuwait Municipality is authorized to issue temporary permits for structures on areas and setbacks located outside industrial plot sites, and to apply safety regulations in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 18 of 1987 concerning safety systems and the protection of public facilities and public wealth resources.
