Public Prosecution and Foreign Ministry Discuss Enhancing Coordination on International Issues and Developments Related to Kuwait

The Public Prosecutor, Advisor Saad Al-Subhan, received Ambassador Sheikh Jauhar Ibrahim Al-Duwaikh, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights Affairs. The meeting discussed ways to enhance coordination between the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on international issues, and reviewed the latest developments related to Kuwait’s interests in international forums and organizations, particularly concerning enforced disappearances, prison visits, human rights, and children’s rights. Both sides also discussed the importance of highlighting Kuwait’s role through its institutions and ministries, and strengthening its participation in various international forums, thereby contributing to defending its positions and showcasing its efforts across different fields. For her part, Ambassador Sheikh Jauhar Al-Duwaikh praised the Public Prosecution’s swift response and its effective cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on files of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of keeping abreast of developments related to international issues and conferences, and ensuring active participation in them to reflect Kuwait’s standing and highlight its efforts and achievements on various fronts.
