«Fire Department»: Control over two fires that broke out in different locations targeted in hostile attacks

The official spokesperson for the General Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Gharib, announced that fire crews managed to control two fires that broke out at different locations in the country on Saturday afternoon. The fires were triggered by hostile attacks stemming from the unjust Iranian aggression targeting the country. Five fire crews participated in responding to the first site, supported by crews from the oil sector’s fire department, while three crews responded to the second site.

Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Gharib clarified that fire crews immediately began firefighting and containment operations upon arrival. The incident at the first site resulted in injuries to several firefighters and one worker from the oil sector, following renewed attacks on the location during firefighting efforts. First aid was administered to the injured, who were then transferred to medical emergency services and subsequently hospitalized for treatment.

He added that the General Fire Force also responded to three separate fires ignited by falling debris in several residential areas, successfully controlling and extinguishing them. The damages were limited to property, with no injuries reported.
