Defense Ministry: Iran's heinous aggression resulted in the injury of several members of the Ground Forces

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, stated that the Armed Forces detected hostile ballistic missiles and drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Friday, and that they were intercepted and neutralized. Al-Atwan added that the reprehensible Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of several Kuwaiti Army facilities and camps by hostile drones, leading to injuries among several members of the Kuwaiti Land Force while carrying out their duties. The injured received necessary medical care and treatment, and their health conditions are stable.

Several vital and civilian facilities were also targeted, including one of the power stations and a water desalination plant. This led to a fire and damage to several station facilities and power generation units, along with debris falling in various locations across the country, causing material damage without any recorded human casualties.

The Armed Forces reaffirmed their continued execution of their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, within the framework of constant readiness and preparedness, and taking all necessary measures to protect the nation’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with the competent authorities, to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
