The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed, early Friday morning, a number of treacherous Iranian aerial attacks.
In a statement, the General Command said that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through its heinous attacks targeting civilians in the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasizing that all its weapons and units are at the highest levels of readiness and preparedness to defend the Kingdom “with firm resolve and high combat readiness.”
It urged everyone to exercise caution and avoid approaching any foreign or suspicious objects resulting from the remnants of the brazen Iranian attack, and to report them immediately. It stressed that the Royal Engineers Unit is fully prepared to handle such objects safely and technically, ensuring the public safety of citizens and residents.
The command further emphasized that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilians and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
