Jordanian Armed Forces: We shot down three Iranian missiles targeting the Kingdom's territory

The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army announced that air defense systems successfully intercepted three Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace on Friday morning, targeting the kingdom’s territory. The systems managed to intercept and shoot them down.

The statement noted that the response to the missiles was conducted in accordance with established defensive measures and operational procedures, ensuring the protection of the kingdom’s sovereignty, the security of its airspace, and the safety and well-being of its citizens. It clarified that the interception and destruction of the missiles resulted in no casualties or material damage. Meanwhile, Royal Engineers teams began their operations at the sites where debris fell, securing and neutralizing the remnants in line with established technical and security protocols. The command emphasized its continued monitoring of the kingdom’s airspace and close tracking of all developments at the highest levels of readiness and preparedness, to respond to any threats in accordance with established rules of engagement.
