Qatari Interior Ministry: Child injured after rocket attack debris falls

The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced that a child was injured after shrapnel fell following an Iranian missile attack targeting the country.

In a statement posted on its official X account, the ministry said: “In the context of continuous monitoring of field developments, the Ministry of Interior confirms that security agencies and civil defense teams initiated their operations in accordance with approved response plans following the Iranian attack that targeted the country this morning. Based on incoming reports and field findings, the ministry confirmed that a child was injured by shrapnel resulting from the interception operation, and is currently receiving the necessary medical care.”

The ministry further affirmed that relevant security agencies are continuing their work on full alert around the clock, enhancing response speed and ensuring the safety and security of society.
