Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense: Armed Forces repelled a missile attack targeting the state

The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that the armed forces had thwarted a missile attack targeting Qatar in the early hours of Friday.

In a statement posted on its official X account, the ministry said: “The armed forces thwarted a missile attack that targeted the country on Friday morning. May God protect Qatar, its Emir, its people, and its residents.”

Earlier, the Qatari Ministry of Interior had announced that the security threat had been neutralized and that conditions had returned to normal across the country.

In a statement relayed by the official Qatar News Agency (QNA), the ministry called on everyone to comply with instructions issued by the competent authorities.

This came after the Qatari Ministry of Interior declared that the “security threat level is high,” urging everyone to remain at home or in safe locations, stay away from windows, glass facades, and open areas, until the danger has passed, in order to safeguard public safety.
