General Manager of "Al-Tatbeeqi" Discusses Preparations for the New Academic Year with Al-Farwaniya Governor

Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), accompanied by a delegation of senior officials from the Authority, visited Sheikh Adbi Al-Nasser, Governor of Farwaniya, at the governorate headquarters.

At the outset of the meeting, the Director General of PAAET provided an overview of the Authority’s colleges and institutes, highlighting the academic and training programs they offer. The discussion also covered ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between PAAET and the Farwaniya Governorate, as well as preparations underway to welcome the new academic year, ensuring that the Authority’s colleges in the Ardiya area are ready to receive students.

The meeting addressed the main challenges that the colleges may face at the beginning of the academic year, foremost among them being traffic congestion around the college campuses. Several proposed solutions and measures were presented in coordination with relevant authorities, aiming to regulate traffic flow, facilitate the entry and exit of students and Authority staff, and ensure smooth movement during peak hours.

Both sides also discussed the readiness of the shelters in PAAET’s colleges, including maintenance work, preparation, and compliance with safety requirements and approved standards. Additionally, they monitored the readiness of surrounding facilities and services to enhance the provision of a safe and organized educational environment as the new academic year begins.

Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination between PAAET, the Farwaniya Governorate, and relevant entities, and of working jointly to address challenges and remove obstacles, thereby supporting the educational process and creating suitable conditions for the success of the academic year.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director General of PAAET expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Farwaniya for his warm reception, his keen interest in following up on the colleges’ needs, and his continuous support for efforts aimed at developing public services and facilities to benefit students and Authority staff.
