Fire controlled at parking lot of a building, destroying vehicles

Kuwait officials: Firefighters launch investigation into blaze that destroyed vehicles beneath a building in the Fahaheel area. The General Fireforce said that a fire team from the Fahaheel Fire Station gained control yesterday afternoon of a fire that broke out in several vehicles parked at a building in Fahaheel. The team responded immediately, fought the blaze, and brought it under control without any significant injuries. The Force had previously warned against leaving pressurized containers and electronic devices inside vehicles during the summer, given the high temperatures. It noted that perfume bottles, lighters, portable power banks, and chargers are among the causes of vehicle fires in summer, along with other factors such as fuel leaks due to punctures or electrical shorts caused by wire corrosion, battery failure, loose electrical connections, low radiator coolant levels, or malfunctions that can cause the engine to overheat and subsequently ignite.
