Exclusion of Al-Rasi from the “Black Lie”

Artist Nadine Rassi was surprised by the decision to exclude her from the series “Kathbat Sawda” without being notified by producer Majd Jaouj or any of the production team. She insisted that claims about a conflict between filming schedules and her commitment to a new stage play were entirely unfounded.

Rassi clarified that the series’ filming schedule did not clash with her theatrical work, and that she had not caused any disruption to the production. She noted that, according to her account, only four days of filming remained in the United Arab Emirates to complete her role in the series.

She denied allegations made by the producer regarding her failure to adhere to filming schedules or to return phone calls, emphasizing her commitment to the agreed-upon schedule. Rassi stated that she learned of the producer’s claims about her non-compliance through backstage rumors.

She added that she had signed her participation contract for “Kathbat Sawda” in the UAE and was previously aware that some of her scenes would be filmed there. Rassi affirmed that she was ready to travel with the production team at any time to complete filming, without any delay on her part. She pointed out that filming had not yet begun in the UAE, while production continued in Lebanon, according to her statements on her social media accounts.
