Chief of Staff Discusses with His Turkish Counterpart Military and Defense Cooperation Relations and Ways to Develop and Strengthen Them

Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, met with his Turkish counterpart, Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Salih Okyar, during his official visit to the friendly Republic of Turkey. A formal reception ceremony was held for him at the headquarters of the Turkish General Staff in the capital, Ankara.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the military and defense cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and discussed ways to develop and strengthen them. The two parties also addressed a number of issues of common interest, including recent regional and international developments.

The Chief of Staff was accompanied on the visit by a delegation of senior commanding officers from the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.
