Warning Against Disagreement

From Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “...Indeed, what destroyed those who came before you was their excessive questioning and their disagreement with their prophets.” Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

This sentence from the hadith contains several benefits, including:

1. Excessive questioning is a cause of destruction, except for questions necessary regarding religious matters that arise in practice.

2. Condemnation of previous nations for their excessive questioning and their disagreements with their prophets.

3. A warning to this Ummah against disagreeing with their Prophet by contradicting his rulings or disputing them.
