Women's Housing Authority Urges Beneficiaries of Rented Housing to Update Their Data Within 90 Days

The Women’s Housing Affairs Committee has called on beneficiaries of housing units rented to Kuwaiti citizens and registered with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to update their records within 90 days, starting from Sunday, July 19.

In a press statement, the Authority noted that the update process will be conducted at the Authority’s Citizen Service Department during both morning and evening shifts at the main building, and during morning shifts only at external centers: Liberation Tower, Jahra, Al-Qurain, and Afneen.

It added that the required documents include a copy of the civil ID of the primary applicant, a copy of the citizenship certificate of the primary applicant, a copy of the marriage certificate for married women, a divorce certificate for divorced women, and a death certificate of the husband for widows. Academic certificates for children covering the last two academic years are also required.

Furthermore, the required documents include a certificate from the General Directorate of Exits and Entries covering the last three years (2024, 2025, and 2026), a certificate from the Real Estate Registration Department regarding the real estate ownership of the primary applicant and her husband, a certificate from the Commercial Register Department for the primary applicant, and a recent certificate from the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities if any family member has a severe or moderate disability. Additionally, a salary certificate, a certificate from the Social Security Affairs, or a certificate from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor is required.

The Committee emphasized that Kuwaiti citizens who have previously updated their records are not required to repeat the update process.
