Emir of Qatar Receives More Condolences from Leaders, Heads of State, and Government Officials on the Passing of the Founding Emir

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, received additional crowds of mourners on the passing of the late, may God have mercy upon him, His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, yesterday Wednesday, on the third day of mourning at Lusail Palace.

His Highness received Sheikhs, ministers, dignitaries, senior officials, and large numbers of citizens, residents, and guests of the country from sister and friendly states, who expressed their sincere condolences, praying to God Almighty to envelop the deceased in His boundless mercy and forgiveness, and to grant him a place in the vast expanses of Paradise.

Also present at the reception were His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Amir; His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir’s Personal Representative; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani; Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani; Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council; and several sons of the late, may God have mercy upon him, His Highness the late Amir, along with other Sheikhs.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, received His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense; and His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The Amir of Qatar also received His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Qasim Al Thani, member of the Supreme Council of the UAE and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
