According to Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, Liang’s net worth now stands at $36 billion, up from approximately $16.7 billion previously. This places Liang significantly above OpenAI CEO Greg Brockman, ranked 100th on Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index with an estimated net worth of $25.5 billion, and Anthropic co-founder Dario Amodei, ranked 491st with a net worth of $7.98 billion, as reported by Singapore’s Straits Times, citing the German news agency dpa. Ironically, OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman does not even appear on Bloomberg’s list of the world’s 500 richest individuals. His net worth is estimated at around $3.4 billion, according to Forbes’ real-time rankings.
