The American University in Kuwait signs a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The American University of Kuwait (AUK) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Social Affairs, as part of efforts to enhance cooperation between the two parties, with the aim of providing examinations and preparatory courses for applicants seeking positions as financial and administrative inspectors in cooperative societies. This initiative contributes to developing national competencies and raising the professional readiness of candidates.

The agreement stems from the university’s commitment to its social role and its mission to support national development by offering high-quality training and preparatory programs based on best academic and professional practices, aligned with labor market needs and the requirements of government entities.

On this occasion, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Qurashi, Director General of the Center for Continuing Education at the American University of Kuwait, emphasized that this partnership reflects the university’s dedication to leveraging its academic and training expertise to serve society and strengthen collaboration with various state institutions.

Dr. Al-Qurashi stated, “This partnership arises from the American University of Kuwait’s responsibility toward society and its belief in the importance of supporting national initiatives that contribute to preparing qualified cadres equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently and professionally. Through this agreement, we aim to harness the university’s expertise and academic resources to serve state institutions. We also look forward to building additional strategic partnerships with ministries and government agencies to support national development objectives.”

Under the memorandum of understanding, the Center for Continuing Education at the university will organize and administer the examinations and preparatory courses in accordance with academic and professional standards that ensure the quality of outcomes, contributing to the efficient preparation of candidates for the targeted positions.
