Kuwait Youth Stumble Against Iran in Asian Youth Handball

Yaqoub Al-AwadiOur national handball team lost to Iran 27-26 in today’s match, which marked the opening of Group B in the 19th Asian Youth Handball Championship, held in China from July 15 to July 26. As a result, Iran earned two points, while our team remains without any points.

The Blue Team will face India at 1:00 p.m. next Friday.

Notably, the Blue Team prepared for the Asian continental qualifiers through local training sessions, followed by an external camp in Slovenia and Croatia, where they played five friendly matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia. The technical staff initially focused on physical conditioning during the early stages of preparation, before shifting emphasis to tactical and technical aspects in the friendly matches.
