The Ministry of Foreign Affairs: The continuation of Iran’s heinous aggression constitutes a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its soil.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strongest condemnation and denunciation of the culpable Iranian aggression that targeted the country on Tuesday evening, resulting in injuries to several members of the armed forces and causing material damage.

Reiterating its firm stance that the continuation of this culpable Iranian aggression constitutes a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents, and an overt challenge to international legitimacy and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), and reflecting an insistence on pursuing a hostile approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving the security and stability of the region, the Ministry emphasizes Kuwait’s inherent right to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the UN Charter.
