Interior Ministry Expands Opportunities for Officer Training Courses
The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Education and Training Sector, announced a package of amendments and measures aimed at broadening the pool of applicants for officer courses. These include revising the age-calculation mechanism, adding additional university majors, and extending the registration period until Thursday, July 23, 2026.
The Ministry clarified that the revised age-calculation condition applies to applicants for the 50th Batch of Officer Cadets Course, the 34th Batch of Specialist Officer Cadets Course, and the 16th Batch of Specialist Officer Cadettes Course. Applicants’ ages will be calculated from the date the registration window opened on July 5, 2026, in order to provide opportunities for the largest possible number of men and women wishing to join these courses.
The Ministry also announced that registration for all university majors is now open to women wishing to join the 16th Batch of Specialist Officer Cadettes Course, a move designed to attract a wider segment of national talent.
In the same context, the Ministry added several university majors for applicants to the 34th Batch of Specialist Officer Cadets Course, namely: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Media, Electronic Systems, Political Science, Information Systems Management, Management Information Systems, Network Sciences, Finance, and Information Systems and Technology.
