The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, stated that assaulting security personnel is a red line, and that no one will be allowed to harm those who carry out their duty to protect the country and enforce the law. He emphasized that anyone who dares to attack security personnel will face stern legal measures, and that the Ministry of Interior will continue to support its members, ensuring their protection and enabling them to fulfill their national mission with full capability.

These remarks came during Sheikh Al-Yousef’s visit to an injured security officer receiving treatment at a hospital, to inquire about his health condition after he was assaulted while performing his duties in the Ali Al-Salim Al-Sabah area.

During the visit, Sheikh Al-Yousef assured the officer of his well-being, telling him, “This is the price of working in military sectors, whether the army or the police, but people like you are heroes who should not be feared for; Kuwait needs people like you.” He also listened to the treating medical team’s explanation of the officer’s health status and the treatment plan being followed, wishing him a speedy recovery and a prompt return to duty.

The First Deputy Prime Minister, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the medical teams overseeing the officer’s treatment, commending the care and attention they provide to ensure the stability of his health.
