Launch of the Fourth Season of the 'Watan al-Innovation' Summer Camp

The fourth season of the “Nation of Innovation” summer camp kicked off, marking a strategic partnership between Zain Kuwait and the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity, one of the centers under the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. This collaboration continues the joint efforts of both entities to empower children and youth, nurture their passion for technology and innovation, and equip them with skills that prepare them for future demands.

The opening ceremony was held at The Avenues Mall, attended by Hamad Al-Musaybih, Director of Communications and Public Relations at Zain Kuwait, and Nada Al-Daihani, Director General of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity. The initiative’s activities will run daily at The Avenues Mall until July 21, and will also take place at The Avenues Mall from August 1 to 10 next year.

Zain believes that true investment begins with empowering future generations by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to actively participate in shaping the future. The company’s role extends beyond offering the latest technological solutions; it also includes supporting educational and training initiatives that foster creative thinking, enhance innovation and problem-solving abilities, and open broader horizons for exploring modern technologies. These efforts aim to develop national cadres capable of keeping pace with rapid transformations and contributing to building Kuwait’s digital future and knowledge-based economy.

The summer camp offers an interactive educational experience for children aged 7 to 14, combining fun and learning through a variety of hands-on workshops in fields falling under Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Each workshop lasts one hour, allowing children to learn through practice, experimentation, and exploration in an encouraging environment that stimulates curiosity and creativity.

The camp’s activities include practical workshops and experiments in robotics, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, programming, 3D printing, electronics, energy storage solutions, and miniature Formula 1 races, alongside other modern technical and scientific fields that contribute to developing creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

The launch of the fourth season follows the significant success of previous editions, which attracted thousands of young participants. These participants had the opportunity to explore areas of technology and digital innovation through practical and interactive educational experiences, reflecting the growing interest from children and parents in programs that combine education and entertainment.
