Minister of Housing Follows Up on the Implementation of the "Diyarna" Project in Several New Cities

Cairo – Nadeh Imam: Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Eng. Randa Al-Munshawi, affirmed that the “Diyarna” project represents one of the important housing initiatives implemented by the ministry to provide suitable residential units with high quality standards, thereby contributing to meeting citizens’ needs. She stressed the necessity of full compliance with standard technical specifications, expediting the completion of construction, finishing works, and utilities, while paying attention to site layout coordination and service implementation, to achieve the highest quality levels within the project.

This came during Eng. Randa Al-Munshawi’s receipt of a report on the executive status of the “Diyarna” residential project in the cities of 10th of Ramadan, New Damietta, Hada’iq October, and New Borg El Arab.

The minister followed up on the executive status of the “Diyarna” project in New Damietta, which comprises 33 residential buildings. The report reviewed the ongoing finishing works, emphasizing the need to accelerate completion according to the specified schedules, in parallel with the implementation of utility works, infrastructure, perimeter walls, and the commercial market, ensuring the project’s readiness for handover within the scheduled deadlines.

The report also presented the executive status of the “Diyarna” project in New Borg El Arab, which includes 14 residential buildings in the first phase. The completion rate for the buildings currently under construction has reached advanced stages, with work continuing in accordance with the approved timeline.

Minister Al-Munshawi also followed up on the executive status of the “Diyarna” project in Hada’iq October, which comprises 118 residential buildings. She stressed the necessity of adhering to the highest quality standards and delivering the project in a dignified, urban manner, while continuing field monitoring to remove any obstacles that might affect implementation rates, ensuring the project’s completion and handover according to the specified schedule.

The monitoring also covered the “Diyarna” project in 10th of Ramadan, which includes 20 residential buildings totaling 520 units. In this context, it was emphasized that construction works should continue according to the approved timeline, with strict compliance with all technical requirements and quality specifications.

Eng. Randa Al-Munshawi directed the intensification of work rates on the “Diyarna” projects, and the rapid completion of construction, finishing, and utility works, as well as site layout coordination, in preparation for handing over the units to citizens within the scheduled deadlines. She also stressed continuous monitoring of implementation rates to ensure the projects are completed according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
