Municipality: 1,384 commercial shop licenses issued

As part of the ongoing efforts, the Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that the Engineering Permits Department of the Hawalli Governorate Municipality Branch processed and issued 1,384 commercial establishment licenses during June last year. In this context, Eng. Khalid Bu Araki, Director of the Engineering Permits Department at the Hawalli Governorate Municipality Branch, clarified that the department processed and issued 291 licenses for shops and construction activities, which varied between new construction, demolition, modifications, and landscaping in private, investment, and commercial residential properties.
