Public Works Authority Completes 169 Structural Inspection and Calibration Operations in June via the Government Center

Atef Ramadan: The Government Center for Testing, Quality Control and Research sector, under the Ministry of Public Works, announced the achievements of the Construction Laboratories Administration for last June, emphasizing the continued efforts of national cadres in strict supervision of the quality and compliance of construction materials with standard specifications, and ensuring the safety of buildings and infrastructure.

According to the official statistics issued by the Soil and Structures Department, the total number of completed transactions and tests reached 169. These were led by 128 inspections of central mixers and additional scales, followed by the calibration of 26 concrete cube crushing machines.

The work also included structural investment inspections for five facilities, six investment core tests, as well as the calibration of field and laboratory testing equipment (Sand Cone device, Speedy device, sensitive scale, and burial sample testing), with one transaction conducted for each.
