First Deputy Foreign Minister of Qatar Condolences on the Death of the Founding Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Al-Khawalid Force in the sister State of Qatar, Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, upon the passing of His Highness the Late Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may God have mercy on him.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior said that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef recalled in his message “with great pride and appreciation the late Emir’s journey, characterized by continuous contributions and his far-sighted vision, which helped enhance the standing of the sister State of Qatar at both the regional and international levels.”

The statement also noted that he highlighted the late Emir’s supportive stances toward the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, and his constant efforts to support peace and stability initiatives, affirming that his legacy will remain immortal in the memories of generations.

Sheikh Al-Yousef prayed to Almighty God to “envelop His Highness in His boundless mercy and pleasure, make Paradise his final abode, and grant you, the noble family, and the brotherly Qatari people the finest patience and solace.”
