Kuwait International Bank (KIB) concluded its participation in the 2026 Middle East Bonds, Loans and Sukuk Conference, held on June 23 and 24, 2026, at the Jumeirah Conference and Events Centre in Dubai. The conference, one of the region’s most prominent platforms bringing together leaders in the banking, investment, and capital markets sectors, saw the participation of more than 2,000 top decision-makers, investors, government representatives, corporate and financial institution representatives, and service providers from around the world.

KIB’s participation in the conference underscores its leading position among financial and banking institutions that actively contribute to the development of capital markets, enhance the supportive environment for growth, and drive the advancement of Islamic financing instruments in local, regional, and global markets.

Maab Al-Qasim, General Manager of the International Banking Department for Financial Institutions at KIB, stated: “KIB’s commitment to attending and actively participating in this year’s Middle East Bonds, Loans and Sukuk Conference reaffirms the bank’s resilience and its established international presence, particularly in light of the current regional tensions. Our continued presence at this strategic platform reflects our ongoing commitment to representing the Kuwaiti banking sector, strengthening our relationships with international partners, and building new partnerships that seek innovative financing solutions to support the diversification of investment activities and the expansion of Islamic banking services.”

She added: “Capital markets today are no longer just channels for providing financing; they have become a cornerstone for building investment confidence, creating long-term sustainable value, and enabling economies to move forward with greater resilience. Sukuk and Sharia-compliant financing instruments continue to play an expanding role, offering flexible and ethical financing solutions that address the evolving needs of markets.”

For his part, Mohammed Al-Duwailah, General Manager of the Treasury Department at KIB, said: “Our participation in this prominent regional event aligns with the bank’s strategy to enhance liquidity management efficiency and expand the scope of our investment financial instruments. Regional sukuk and debt markets demonstrate day by day their depth and ability to absorb changes. At KIB, we focus on seizing promising opportunities that contribute to diversifying funding sources and meeting the expectations of our investors, while strengthening our competitiveness as a key player in the regional and global fixed-income and Islamic financing markets.”

During the two-day conference, KIB participated in a series of meetings and discussions addressing several key sector topics, including capital market growth, sukuk issuances, Islamic financing structures, regional investment opportunities, and the changing needs of financial institutions. The bank also showcased its range of innovative products and services, alongside its expertise in international banking services, which support its strategy to expand its presence and enhance its role in the financial sector.
