U.S. Central Command: We struck an Iranian base with naval drones for the first time

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces successfully struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran yesterday using a number of single-use attack drones. Three Corsair maritime drones hit the port located at the Bandar Abbas naval base, marking the first time U.S. forces have employed maritime drones in combat operations. The command added in a statement that the strikes launched last night have weakened Iran’s ability to continue attacking commercial shipping traffic.
