Sinner retains his "Wimbledon" title

Italian player Jannik Sinner, the world No. 1, claimed the Wimbledon tennis title after defeating German Alexander Zverev (seeded third) 6-7 (7-9), 7-6 (7-2), 6-3, and 6-4 in the final. The victory allowed him to retain his title for the second consecutive year and bring his Grand Slam tally to five.
The 24-year-old Sinner regained his composure after losing the first set in a match dominated by powerful serving, securing his sixth title of the year after winning the first five of the year’s ATP Masters 1000 tournaments.
The Italian last won a Grand Slam title when he triumphed in London last July.
