Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held telephone conversations with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi. During the calls, the latest developments in the region were reviewed, and the repeated Iranian attacks against countries in the region were condemned, along with a rejection of any actions that could undermine the sovereignty of states or threaten the security and stability of the region. Views were also exchanged on several issues, foremost among them efforts to restore security, de-escalate tensions, and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
