This step aims to unify media and awareness efforts to enhance the culture of rationalizing electricity and water consumption, and to instill positive behaviors among members of society, thereby supporting the state’s direction toward preserving natural resources and achieving sustainable development. This partnership comes within the framework of integration among state institutions and stems from the importance of unifying media and awareness messages to raise community awareness of the optimal use of electricity and water, and to motivate various segments of society to adopt sustainable conservation practices.
The partnership includes implementing a comprehensive media plan that features intensifying the presence of the “Wafar” national campaign through television and radio programs, producing diverse awareness content tailored to different age groups, alongside preparing awareness flash videos, field report packages, short media messages, and hosting experts on talk shows to provide practical guidance that contributes to strengthening the culture of rational electricity and water use.
The partnership also involves leveraging digital platforms and social media to deliver awareness messages using innovative methods and interactive content that aligns with public interests, thereby contributing to expanding the campaign’s reach to various segments of society and enhancing its impact.
