“Al-Khalij” Deposits 1 Million Dinars in Millionaire’s New “Al-Dana” Account

Gulf Bank received Ahmed Ibrahim Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the winner of the semi-annual draw for the Dana Account held by a millionaire, which awarded him a prize worth one million dinars. The draw took place last week under the supervision of leading global audit firms, RSM and Grant Thornton, and was broadcast live via Gulf Bank’s social media accounts and 360 FM radio, underscoring the bank’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of transparency and credibility in the draw process.

Ahmed Al-Khatib, the 26th millionaire in the history of the Dana Account draws, was welcomed at the Private Services branch in Crystal Tower by Abdulrahman Al-Khubizi, Deputy General Manager of Personal Banking – Wealth Management, and Najla Al-Eissa, Head of Marketing, along with several bank officials.

Following the completion of the procedures to deposit the one-million-dinar prize into the winner’s account, Al-Khatib expressed his joy at winning, affirming that he had been certain since opening his account at Gulf Bank ten years ago that the Dana Account would one day reward him. He had harbored hopes of winning throughout those years until he received the long-awaited call while spending his summer vacation with his family and brothers in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He advised everyone to make saving a part of their lives, noting that the Dana Account had been his primary destination for any funds he could save since moving to Kuwait for work.

Al-Khatib spoke about his future ambitions, indicating that the prize money would help him meet the capital requirement to launch a project he had long dreamed of in Kuwait. This reflects the Dana Account’s slogan: “Hope is always in its place.” Al-Khatib’s story with the Dana Account illustrates a long journey of commitment, patience, and years of saving that culminated in a pivotal moment that changed his life, becoming an inspiration for anyone striving to achieve their dreams through sound financial planning.

She clarified that those who were not lucky in previous draws could win a prize worth 200,000 dinars in the upcoming draw scheduled for September 9, or the grand prize of 1.5 million dinars, with the draw to be held on February 10. The final deadline for deposit and participation is September 30, 2026.
