Ministry of Education and Public Education: The “homeschooling” system is illegal, and no license has been issued to operate it in any international school

Cairo – Ahmed Sabri The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has confirmed that the “homeschooling” system is illegal and that no license has been issued to operate it in any international school. The Ministry of Education called on parents to ensure that schools comply with approved educational regulations and to avoid being misled by fictitious entities or practices that violate the law and governing regulations. The Ministry stressed that all schools licensed to operate within Egypt are required to implement the approved curricula and must not contravene the regulations governing the educational process under any guise. It emphasized that any school found to be involved in implementing, promoting, or circumventing the regulations governing the educational process will face legal accountability and appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the law, thereby safeguarding students’ rights and ensuring the continuity of the educational process.
