Qatar announces four days of mourning for the late, may Allah have mercy on him, His Highness the Amir

The Qatari Diwan Al Amiri has announced a general period of mourning across the country for the nation’s great loss, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may God have mercy on him, for four days, starting today, Sunday. Work in ministries, other government bodies, and public institutions and entities will be suspended starting tomorrow, Monday, with employees resuming their duties on Sunday, July 19.

Additionally, flags across the country will be flown at half-mast throughout the mourning period.
