Saudi Arabia: Royal decrees appoint Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as Minister of Industry and confirm his continuation as Minister of Energy

His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, issued a number of royal decrees covering new appointments and dismissals. The decrees included the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, in addition to his continued role as Minister of Energy. They also appointed Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Kharif as a Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, assigning him to serve concurrently as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries alongside his existing duties. Pursuant to the decrees, Shalan bin Rajih bin Abdullah bin Shalan was appointed as an advisor to the Royal Court at the ministerial rank. Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza Bafaqih was appointed as Governor of Jeddah Municipality at the ministerial rank. The royal decrees, published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), also appointed Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Mutairi as Deputy Minister of Justice at the ministerial rank. Talal bin Fuad bin Ahmed Al-Humoud was appointed as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs at the ministerial rank. Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Duhaim was appointed as Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Executive Affairs at the ministerial rank.
