We were delighted by the strong engagement shown by General Fireforce members in this initiative, and we take pride in the praise and appreciation we received for this national gesture, which underscores the importance of honoring frontline workers. The strong interest from Kuwaiti business owners and entrepreneurs in participating from the very beginning played a significant role in the initiative’s success, in a scene that embodies the spirit of solidarity and community responsibility, and confirms the private sector’s commitment to supporting national initiatives.”

For his part, Brigadier General Mohammed Badr Al-Gharib, Director of Public Relations and Media at the General Fireforce, said: “This initiative holds great moral value for General Fireforce members, as it reflects societal appreciation for their role in safeguarding individuals and property. He commended Boubyan Bank and its partners for organizing this initiative, which embodies meanings of loyalty and recognition of the efforts made by national cadres.”

This recognition comes in appreciation of the efforts made by members of the General Fireforce during the recent exceptional period, and to underscore the importance of strengthening community partnerships between private sector institutions and government entities. We would also like to express our gratitude to Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti Financial Centre (Boubyan) for this gesture of appreciation, which serves to motivate personnel and sustain their dedication to serving the country and society.

In the context of this initiative, Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti Financial Centre (Boubyan) was keen to provide educational materials as part of the national banking campaign “Let’s Be Aware,” launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in collaboration with the Kuwait Banks Association and supported by local banks, with the aim of enhancing financial literacy and reinforcing the principles of safe use of banking and digital services. These materials also focused on raising awareness about the risks of cyber fraud and methods of prevention, thereby contributing to the promotion of secure banking practices and deepening financial awareness among various segments of society.
